Shipping & Delivery
When will my order be shipped?
Express delivery orders and most regular delivery orders placed before 1.30pm (Sydney time - AEST/AEDT) on a business day are usually shipped from our Bowral warehouse same-day. During busy periods there may be small delays to dispatch some orders. There may also be some dispatch delays as our warehouse ensures compliance with COVID safe plans.
Ordering over the weekend will mean your order will be despatched on the following Monday.
Do you ship on public holidays?
No, as our shipping providers do not work on public holidays. This means we do not ship parcels on National or NSW public holidays. Our warehouse is also shut on these holidays.
Is everything on your site in stock?
Any item that you can add to cart is actually in stock, right here in Australia. We only list items for sale that are actually available in our warehouse, so your order will be shipped on time.
How much does shipping cost?
- Orders over $100: All orders over $100 ship free across Australia (excludes some bulky items). If you choose the Free "Road Freight" method, we will select a suitable shipping service (e.g. Australia Post, courier). We also have an Express Shipping option available on checkout.
- Orders under $99.99: Cost to ship these orders is a flat $9.95 as long as you are within our network of postcodes, and the item is not bulky. We also have an Express Shipping option available at checkout.
NOTE: For a swift delivery, we recommend you to provide an address where someone is home to collect and sign for the package. Our delivery companies mainly deliver to physical addresses, we can also deliver to PO Boxes as long as the length does not exceed the dimensions of 1.05m in length.
What does "Authority to Leave" mean?
Authority to leave means that your package will not require a signature upon delivery. This is great for people which are often at work when the postman/courier arrives, as they don't need to be home for delivery. Please note, if you select "Authority to Leave" Stonex Tools Australia will not be held responsible for any parcels which are lost/stolen/mauled by your canine. We do not recommend selecting if you live in a gated complex, or unit block. CHOOSE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Can you ship Express?
We offer Express deliveries to most locations across Australia using Australia Post eParcel Express & Startrack. We have a flat rate of $19.95 unless you are out of area and the item is bulky. Refer to our list of postcode exclusion zones below.
Shipping Express means that your order will receive priority dispatch and priority shipping. Please note that there are potential freight delays to all deliveries regardless of shipping method due to the current COVID-19 situation. You can use the Australia Post Tracking to keep up to date with the estimated delivery of your order - Australia Post Tracking.
Express is 1-2 days* delivery to Eastern States for small items. Large & heavy orders may take longer due to a Road Express Service. Express is by far the fastest order processing and service to your area.
Shipping to WA and NT will take longer, especially remote classed areas, if in doubt, please email or call us for shipping time estimations.

How long will it take to get my order?
Delivery times depend on where you live and the shipping method you select. Additional updates on potential delays due to COVID-19 can be found here.
To see an estimate on how long a package may take to arrive, you can use the delivery estimator from Australia Post, you can go to their website and enter Bowral, NSW 2576 as the origin postcode: Australia Post shipping estimate
If after the estimated time your order has not arrived (noting any additional updates from the provided by Australia Post during COVID-19), or you are concerned about it's progress, we suggest that you contact the freight provider first. They are best placed to track your parcel down and get it to you as soon as possible. However if you don't have any luck with them, then you can contact us and we'll try to get it sorted out as soon as possible for you!
If your order is returned to sender and comes back to our warehouse through an incorrect address provided/ missed delivery or non-collection from a post office etc. you will be required to pay a subsidised shipping fee to have this sent out again. Startrack Express do not return to the closest LPO automatically.
Once your order is despatched, providing you logged correct email address, you will get an email from us and the carrier with tracking details. Please keep an eye out for this.
Can I come and collect my order from your store?
Fortunately, yes! We now have this offer available at our Bowral, NSW 2576 warehouse. We are open for collection Monday - Friday only between 7.30am and 4.30pm.
Most of the products we sell are in this location. On the rare occasion that we draw from one of our other bulk locations, we will contact you within 1hr during weekdays to advise if there are any issues for facilitating the pickup choice.
Once your order is placed, our address will show on the website, and you will also get a follow-up email with details on how to find us.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to New Zealand except for bulky products. Please contact us if you have any questions!

International Postage Rates
- $24.95 for orders to New Zealand on parcels under 2kg - This is Express Service - 8-12 Business Days Shipping, however this can blow out to a few weeks at the moment. If your parcel will be over 2kg, please email us for a shipping quote prior to purchase. (Placing an order that is over 2kg will still go through, and we will be in contact with you to secure the balance shipping cost payable)

Bulky goods excluded. We will provide a quote based on the product and destination.
Listings with a note at the bottom of the product information indicating only for sale with pickup from our Bowral NSW address, may in some circumstances be able to be shipped, however due to the bulky oversize nature, you will need to contact us prior to ordering for a freight quote. Once approved and charged, we can then ship accordingly if this case by case arrangement meets your satisfaction requirement.
A shipping label is created immediately after we have received your payment. You will then receive an e-mail with your invoice and the information needed to track your order online. In a rare event of an item out of stock, you will be notified by e-mail or phone.
We require a telephone number in case any problems should occur during delivery. Only after you have communicated us your shipping details as well as a telephone number can we ship your order. Requesting authorisation to leave with no signature removes our responsibility to reimburse on any lost or damaged orders. We assure you that this personal data is strictly used for shipping purposes only; under no circumstances do we abuse them or release them to other parties for commercial gain.*Bulky goods are not included in the Free Delivery policy.
