Situation lanbsquarters in yellow clay. Results swaneck began to straighten greatly reducing the blades ability to work effectively. Needs bending back to original position after every time. Maybe I gat a bad one? The design is sound but needs to be stronger. Maybe mine was a exception.

The first one sent was over hardend and the blade chipped apart. BUT a small email raising my concerns was quickly replied to and rectified. My new long handle razor hoe is sturdy and fantastic for weeding inbetween my plants on my no dig farm. Thanks for your understanding and speedy service. Will perchase more from stonex. This hoe did remove weeds without all the bending that’s usually needed. As we do have a lot of rocky soil the blade could be a bit sturdier.
